This article discusses an account of the methodology used to gain consensus around the development of a national set of child well-being indicators
Abstract:
The article accounts the methodology used to arrive at a consensus around the development of a national set of child well-being indicators in Ireland. A multi-stage consensual approach was taken to the development of indicators and the Delphi technique was used as an overarching technology for integrating each part. It was found out that the Delphi technique satisfactorily achieve 96% in developing a national set of child well-being indicators.
